Earlier we were informed that Josh was nominated for the 2008 SPBGMA Guitar Performer of the Year. Tonight, The Society for the Preservation of Blugrass Music of America announced they awarded Josh Williams the 2008 SPBGMA Guitar Performer of the Year. This is Josh Williams fourth Guitar Performer of the Year award from the SPBGMA.
Many thanks to the SPGGMA for the award and congratulations to the other fine musicians that were nominated for awards at the SPBGMA. It's an honor to be nominated and and even high honor given the list of other nominees involved. The list of other nominees included:
