To be held at the Music City Sheraton Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee on Sunday February 7th, 2010. On October 1st at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, as part of the IBMA's twentieth annual Awards Show, Josh Williams was presented the 2009 Guitar Player of the Year award by Miss Claire Lynch, and one of Josh's guitar heroes, Tim Stafford of "Blue Highway." This was quite an emotional moment for Josh!

Congratulations to the Josh Williams Band for their nomination for IBMA’s “Emerging Artist of the Year” award for 2009 and to Josh Williams for again being nominated for IBMA’s prestigious “Guitar Player of the Year” award for 2009. All the IBMA Awards will be presented at the Ryman Auditorium, during the “20^th annual Bluegrass Awards Show” on Thursday evening, October 1, 2009.

In addition to several late night Showcases during the week of the IBMA’s World of Bluegrass, The Josh Williams band will be performing an official IBMA Showcase in the ballroom of the Nashville convention center on Monday night, September 28, 2009 from 10:35 to 11:00 PM.

Josh and the band are looking forward to seeing all their good friends during IBMA, as well as making many new friends during the week.
