Josh Williams and the Josh Williams Band are excited to announce the group’s decision to donate a new, autographed, “New York Pro”/Rothrock Music Custom Cutaway Guitar System. The system consists of the new autographed “New York Pro Dreadnaught Cutaway Guitar” with a custom Tony Rothrock set-up, to Josh Williams’ specifications; a deluxe “TKL” Road warrior Hard-shell case, a Ranger USA strap; an “EVETS Guitar Professor Electronic tuner with chord finder and Two additional sets of “GHS Signature Bronze Medium gauge Strings”. Retail value of the guitar system, with accessories, is $569.00 (Five hundred sixty-nine dollars).

On Jan 3, 2009, Josh Williams appeared in Raleigh on the 2009 Pick 1 All Star Jam Tour.  It was a group of performers with an entertaining performance to match.  Here are some photos of the event.

Photographer Phil Burt sent us a picture of the Josh Williams Band with the newest member, Resophonic guitarist, Greg Blaylock. This was taken at the JWB performance at the Station Inn, on Saturday night, August 23rd.

Once again the band played to a packed house in Nashville, and is looking forward to their many upcoming showcase performances at the IBMA World of Bluegrass. Check this website for the scheduled IBMA showcases .

The Jackson Purchase friends of Bluegrass (JPFOB) have formed a partnership with the Hamlet Baptist Church to present a concert to help the Scottie Henson family to defray the medical costs not covered by insurance.
